Her impressive performance led to a well-deserved promotion to District Sales Manager. Her deep understanding of restaurant fintech sales is a natural progression after years of experience in the hospitality industry. Sharilyn's journey in the fintech realm has been marked by notable achievements. She's not only a recipient of the Toasty Award but has also attained President's Club recognition for her outstanding contributions. However, Sharilyn's passion extends beyond her career achievements. She is fervently dedicated to coaching and personal development. Currently, she is enrolled in the IPEC Coaching program with the goal of becoming a certified coach, driven by her unwavering enthusiasm for helping others grow and thrive. Sharilyn's extensive background in the hospitality industry is the foundation of her success. She began her career in the vibrant heart of New York City, working alongside Chef Kurt Gutenbrunner at Wallsé and Blaue Gans while still in high school. Her innate connection with the industry led her to explore various roles, including accounting. This passion for learning and growing eventually propelled her to formalize her education in hospitality management at the Katharine Gibbs School. In 2004, she embarked on a new adventure at Wylie Dufresne's iconic Michelin-starred restaurant, wd~50, initially responsible for accounting but soon expanding her expertise to encompass all aspects of high-end restaurant finances. Sharilyn's commitment to understanding every facet of the restaurant world took her from accounting to managing the front of the house at wd50, and within two years, she had risen to the position of Operations Manager. Her impressive journey continued as she took on the role of overseeing both wd50 and Alder, an establishment Dufresne opened in 2013. In 2017, when Chef Dufresne introduced Du’s Donuts, Sharilyn's extensive resume equipped her to assume the role of Director of Operations at the new venture, where she oversaw every facet of the business. Sharilyn's career is defined by her love of working with people, meticulous attention to detail cultivated during her initial experience as a bookkeeper, her proficiency in managing logistics and her ability to develop and implement systems.
