About Sharin Attamimi

I am a passionate and dedicated Speech Pathology professional with a strong interest in both adult and paediatric practice. My clinical focus includes adult feeding, swallowing, and post-stroke rehabilitation, as well as paediatric speech sound disorders, where I strive to deliver evidence-based, person-centred care that makes a tangible difference in quality of life. With a foundation in neuroscience, I bring a deep understanding of the brain–communication connection to my clinical reasoning and intervention planning. My prior experience as a DEXA technician has further strengthened my skills in clinical environments, patient care, and multidisciplinary collaboration. These experiences allow me to approach complex cases with both scientific knowledge and practical insight. Outside of healthcare, I am also a singer and songwriter, which enhances my creativity, communication, and ability to build strong rapport. This unique blend of clinical expertise and artistic expression enriches my practice, enabling me to connect with clients in ways that support both engagement and therapeutic success. I am committed to advancing best practice in speech pathology, with particular interest in feeding and swallowing, post-stroke recovery, and the development of effective interventions for children with communication needs.
