I am looking forward to begin the next step in my professional life as I strive to continue making a positive contribution to the lives of patients, their families, and our communities. I plan to continue to provide culturally appropriate, compassionate, holistic care that is founded on the principles of evidence-based health promotion, prevention, and treatment. My mission is to work collaboratively within a supportive and highly motivated group of health care providers who also desire to provide high quality, safe, and cost-effective care. With 29 years of nursing and health care administration as well as a Master in Business Administration, I believe I have a solid platform for practicing as a Nurse Practitioner. I value continued personal and professional growth through formal education and self-learning. Inspired and influenced by my parents and grandparents, I strongly believe in service to my peers and my community. I have had many opportunities to volunteer and lead community service programs with my church, professional organizations, and charity groups which has provided me with personal growth, satisfaction, and gratitude. I feel confident that my personal and professional experiences will serve me and my employer well in my duties and responsibilities as a Nurse Practitioner.
