Sharon is a recognized leader in the employee benefits industry and a frequent speaker at HR and insurance conferences nationwide. Her 25+ years of experience in employee benefits, tax compliance, healthcare consumerism, the Affordable Care Act, and legislative issues is highly sought after. In 1996, Sharon founded her own third-party administration firm, Alt Benefit Consultants, providing FSA, HRA and COBRA administration services, and continued to serve clients in that capacity until 2009. Since then, she has supported several large agencies with a focus in ERISA and ACA. She is a past president of the Fort Worth Association of Health Underwriters and is currently their legislative chair. Sharon will support ASIFlex and ASI COBRA sales and marketing efforts for FSAs, HSAs, HRAs, LSAs, Commuter Benefits; and for COBRA/Direct Billing services.
