About Sharon Baum

With nearly 15 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, I specialize in addressing communication challenges across the lifespan. Currently, I serve as a Speech Language Pathologist at Harlem Children's Zone, where I collaborate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored therapy for elementary, middle, and high school students. My efforts align with the organization's mission to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty through transformative educational services. Certified as an MA, and TSSLD, I bring expertise in program evaluation, capacity building, and comprehensive progress assessments. My approach prioritizes collaboration with families and educators to foster meaningful and sustained progress, ensuring communication skills serve as a foundation for academic and social success.
