About Sharon Carter

Analytics and visual creativity don’t often have a place behind the same desk, but they do in my workspaces. I enjoy stepping back from a problem or task at-hand—such as developing a website—and determine and prioritize the necessary steps to put it together. It’s like solving a puzzle, only better, since I get to pick and shape the puzzle pieces, colors, and images. Project management has been at the core of my career. After coordinating operations for over 20 feature film and television series, I transitioned to luxury real estate/resort marketing, collaborating across executive and management levels in sales, construction, development, and operations. I then worked for 3 years as an in-house marketing manager for a mortgage company where I developed diverse marketing campaigns for 15 loan officers. Today I enjoy being part of 2-person team managing the marketing efforts for the Washington and Oregon divisions of Toll Brothers, a national luxury home builder. I have a breadth of marketing knowledge and hands-on experience with email marketing, website development, WordPress, SEO, blogging, and copywriting. I keep PR, media, photographers, and web developers on-task; talk shop with graphic designers; and translate complex concepts and project status reports into actionable information for others. I am a passionate about real estate and invest personally. Currently I own and self-manage my 3 rental properties (6 doors). I also assist my husband with bookkeeping (Quickbooks) and managing his residential remodel business.
