In my role as office support I utilize many of my skills in that I enjoy working with people and assisting them with meeting a need. I greet staff and visitors and welcome them to our school. I answer incoming calls and assist or direct as needed. When volunteer needs arise, I reach out to the JCPS approved database and assist in coordinating their schedules to meet the needs. As a former social worker I quickly realized that I enjoyed problem solving and meeting the needs of others be it in directing them to a needed service or a service that I am able to provide. I work closely with the administrators for correspondence, proofreading and various projects.
