About Sharon Fraser

Helping an organization realize its vision is my passion. I don’t find anything more exciting than seeing internal and external stakeholders make the connection with an organization's new process, modern technology or improved service. Knowing I have helped by providing the skills necessary to navigate the project management waters to make that change a reality is why project management is my passion. For over 12 years I have honed my project management skills. Prior to that I spent many years fine-tuning my communications skills, first as a journalist then as a Communications Manager. I also use (to my advantage) my dedication to being a continual learner willing to stretch- I love learning new things or new ways to do things- I love thinking outside the box to find a solution to an issue- I love helping others find "opportunity" in what they may think is a problem- I love what I am trained to do - manage projects effectively and efficiently. On a fun note: Myers Briggs says I am ENFJ but I sit on the cusp which makes me adaptable. The Birkman Career Management Report says I’m a “blue” in all areas which means I’m insightful, optimistic, and innovative. I am a firm believer that blood donors save lives and cancer research has made a huge difference in all our lives – I have seen both first hand – our daughter is a cancer survivor. I have taken an interest in trying to break 100 on the golf course (for 18 holes. I’m not that bad) and get a real high from “making” a slam in bridge. I love a good book and a scenic hike.
