About Sharon Hager

My name is Sharon Hager, and I am a Purdue University Global student, completing a Graduate Certificate in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. I am nearing the end of the program and am seeking a 10-week field placement with an organization to integrate my knowledge and skills in Human Resources, or the training and development of new and existing employees. The goal of this field placement is to find an organization that will allow me to work alongside professionals in the field where I can practice the skills and information that I have learned throughout my program in a real-world environment. I am hoping to start this rotation as soon as April 21, 2021. I have 25 years working in manufacturing, and the last four years working at FedEx Ground have allowed me to excel in various roles within the organization, both productively and efficiently. Attention to detail is crucial in my current position and has encouraged me to further my education by learning behaviors and skills that align employees with organizational objectives. This level of attentiveness and unrelenting focus is a top priority, keeps me motivated and moving forward. Furthermore, my knowledge, skills, and abilities would be an asset to the work needed during the rotation and my passion for being a part of it.
