About Sharon Long

Experienced Human Resources professional with vast knowledge in many areas of HR due to system administration and leadership positions. I’ve been a participant in many project management teams for Recruiting, Compensation, Leave Administration, System Upgrades, and Reduction in force, as well as the creation of an HR/Payroll Shared Service center where I developed and managed the Employee Services team. My systems experience includes PeopleSoft, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Skype, Web Meeting, and Oracle Financial. My progressive leadership experience running a Global HR/Payroll Shared Service Center and partnering with the HR organization has led to streamlined processes and improved data integrity within the HR/Payroll system. I have excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and project management skills. I am very detail-oriented with ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow-up promptly. I remain calm in a high-pressure and high-volume environments. I have enthusiasm to organize, schedule, plan, and execute projects, programs, and event. I'm confident, warm and friendly, but nonetheless sympathetic for others and ready to help with others' problems where possible. When I’m not on the job I enjoy camping, bowling, and relaxing on the beach.
