In my role as Biochemistry Supervisor at the University Health Network, I am a key member of the laboratory management team, overseeing the daily operations in the biochemistry department and leading a team of over 50 staff members, across 3 sites. In my over 10 yeas of laboratory experience, I have served as a technical resource, offering guidance, troubleshooting, and leadership while ensuring quality assurance processes are robust and effective. Previous experience includes initiating and evaluating new technologies, methods, and equipment to enhance departmental efficiency, all while maintaining strict adherence to current regulations and best practices. I am committed to continuous improvement and professional development, having earned certifications in Clinical Education and Quality Systems, with ongoing studies in Clinical Management.
