I'm a versatile storyteller, trend consultant, designer and art director with 15+ years experience leveraging color theory, print pattern, photography, typography and illustration expertise to create impactful design for budding brands. I honed my brand building skills in California’s incubatory Bay Area where, as an Art Director for Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, I collaborated with advertising powerhouses to create on-trend, award winning campaigns for global clients such as Frito Lay, Rolling Rock and Elizabeth Arden. Later, working in-house to establish connective brand tissue between marketing and product, I helped ground-breaking tech start-ups TaskRabbit and ZipRecruiter become household names through strategic brand identity design that drove engagement and established trust. Since 2015 I have nurtured my freelance design practice working with clients to clarify and articulate brand visions. Seamlessly integrating with in-house teams at agencies such as Manual and DDB I've provided creative support for new business pitches and campaign deliverables winning business from clients such as Shaklee, Din and Knoxville Chamber of Commerce. I'm also a contributor to the Proef Trend Research group where I examine cultural shifts to anticipate color and material trends, helping clients integrate key insights across their products in the sporting goods, fashion, and beauty industries. I use design to distill crucial information and propagate empathy driven engagement; designing a brighter, more thoughtful world where authenticity, creativity and innovation connect everything from products to protests with what matters—people.
