About Sharon Moskowitz

Sharon has a three tier career story. She started her Events/Hospitality/Arts based career in the special event and venue management industry, as the inaugural Special Events Manager at Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta, Georgia. Her former clients included Elton John, Vice President Al Gore and President Jimmy Carter to name a few. Sharon's passion is to combine art with events anyway possible. To do so she formed her business, srmART Connect while she held the position of Managing Director at Conant Performing Arts Center on the campus of Oglethorpe University. This happens to be her Alma Mater. She was honored to sit on the City of Brookhaven's Convention & Visitor's Bureau. She was selected as on of 50 top arts leaders of metro atlanta through the Atlanta Regional Commission known as ALMA Class of 2020. Sharon's 28 years in the events and hospitality industry keeps her grounded and remains an active member of the Atlanta Chapter of NACE (National Association of Catering & Events). She sat on the board as the Community Service Chair. In her past, Sharon is the former chair for the city of Roswell's Cultural Arts Board from 2005 - 2011. A very short summary of srmART Connect: art sales, live event experiences, curates art shows in unique non-gallery environments, work with interior designers, residential and commercial planners/designers. Research for and shop with collectors. Also skilled in working with stakeholders, urban planners and placemakers. Coach artists as well as rep for fair and equitable compensation for the artists.
