About Sharon Munro

I am a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in both administration and fundraising roles within the public and charity sectors. In my current role of Development Support Officer at Durham Cathedral, I provide administrative and P.A. support to the Head of Department. I am responsible for the maintenance of the fundraising CRM database (including recording income, maintaining campaigns and programmes and providing training to users) and the monitoring of and reporting on team budgets. I research prospective major and other donors and administer the major donor fundraising programme. I also have responsibility for legacy administration. My role requires me to liaise with donors on a regular basis, acting as a positive ambassador for the charity at all times. Throughout my career I have become accustomed to working on multiple projects at the same time in a fast paced environment. Highly organised, hardworking, flexible and conscientious, I always strive to ensure my work is delivered on time and is of a high standard. I have experience of supervising and managing both staff and workloads and I am able to work alone as well as part of a team. I am honest, reliable, of the highest integrity and respectful of diversity and the need for confidentiality.
