About Sharon Preda

I used to see ambition as a tightrope walk, but I've discovered it's actually my superpower. It's the grit and determination that fuels my ability to get things done. For me, it means setting clear, sometimes audacious goals, being willing to take smart risks, and learning valuable lessons along the way. At Xello, I'm passionate about collaborating on winning strategies that empower our teams and ensure we consistently deliver best-in-class service to our clients. Reflecting on my journey – from teaching abroad to shaping narratives as an editor for a start-up and then transitioning into the tech industry as an account manager – a common thread has emerged: my passion for improving the experiences of others. I achieve this by actively listening to understand needs, thoughtfully analyzing situations, and confidently advocating for solutions. Growing up in the Southern US, living in the vibrant culture of South Korea, and immigrating to Canada has been incredibly formative. It's taught me the profound importance of open-mindedness and the richness that comes from weaving together diverse perspectives – qualities that are central to my approach as a leader.
