About Sharon Stricker

I am a seasoned writer with over 10 years experience writing, editing, proofreading and teaching English. In addition to managing my own educational business, I have produced user-friendly content for both start-ups and large companies that reaches tens of millions of people across the globe. When I worked with Google, I wrote, edited, and published Google help center and knowledge base content, announcements, and canned responses. I was quickly promoted from general writer to senior writer of the busiest product pod with many highly-sensitive launches. Within a year, I published over 120 articles, and was selected for complex confidential projects, including experimental pilots, artificial intelligence, multimedia projects, along with creating SOPs and information architecture for new processes. I am passionate about growing and helping others reach their potential. Within the first few months of being a technical writer, I spearheaded a weekly career development opportunity for my team which improved morale and led to several promotions. Shortly after, I was promoted to a senior role and had the opportunity to manage large, complex projects and create exciting new processes in confidential projects. Whenever someone has a problem, I listen and collaborate to find a solution. As I help organize and streamline processes, I work closely with my team to ensure they are heard and know they are valued. Currently, I'm looking for full-time remote work opportunities, particularly in technical writing, user-facing documentation, project management, curriculum development, and UX writing. I'm drawn to technology or education companies, but I am open to other opportunities as well!
