20 years office administration experience in a variety of industries ( law office, non-profit agencies, post-secondary institutions, etc), including Office Management and Project Management experience. 15 years experience in adult education (ESL, Workplace Skill Development, Computer literacy, Microsoft Office, Manual Accounting, Simply Accounting & Sage 300 Software, Marketing, Finance and Internal Controls, Soft Skills Training, Career Development, etc.). Worked as a Business Instructor with private colleges in New Brunswick and Newfoundland; Workplace Essential Skills Instructor for Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour; Program Facilitator/developer and job coach in the not-for-profit sector supporting individuals with a disabilities. Also did family support work for a local agency supporting families and individuals with social barriers, intellectual disabilities and mental illnesses. Currently working with newcomers to Canada teaching workplace English and literacy. Possess experience with on-line instruction and workshop facilitation (Moodle, Illuminate V10, Skype, SAM Cengage, etc.). Completed a Masters in Adult Education with Yorkville University, Fredericton; a B.A in Organizational Management, Diploma in Human Resource Management/Payroll Practitioner, Diploma in Accounting and Software Applications and several courses in Human Service Counseling.
