About Sharon Wong

Experienced legal professional with a background in corporate law, capital markets, and M&A, as well as legal knowledge management (KM) and learning strategy across Singapore, Malaysia, and the Asia Pacific region. I started my career as a corporate finance and M&A lawyer, becoming a partner in leading law firms in Singapore and Malaysia, before expanding my expertise into legal operations, knowledge management, learning and professional development within an ASEAN legal network and later a Big 4 global professional services network. I've always been passionate about making legal knowledge more accessible and helping teams stay future-ready. Throughout my career, I have worked across legal practice and operations, leading initiatives to improve knowledge-sharing, streamline legal processes, and support professional growth. Key projects I’ve led include: Advising on corporate law, capital markets, and M&A transactions. Developing legal precedents and knowledge sharing platforms to enhance efficiency. Writing, editing and publishing legal content and insights to strengthen thought leadership. Designing and delivering training programs for legal professionals both locally and regionally With a strategic and practical approach, I enjoy helping organizations navigate legal and business challenges in an evolving landscape. Outside of work, I’m a mother of three, an 80s music enthusiast, and an avid hiker. Lately, I’ve been attempting to transfer my varsity tennis skills to pickleball—jury’s still out on how that’s going!
