I Darna Sai Shashank, a specialist artist in painting and print making is presently working over an art piece concerning to collaborative surrealism, conceptual art with interactive installations and, Post modern art. My Present work in painting conveys a wider sense of machine aesthetics and new media interactive art. These works prima facie is social concerns generally pertaining to mechanisation (automation) and Urbanization. The paintings here include surrealistic and futuristic vehicles/machinery which seems to stay afloat in an indefinite, infinite space over heaps of urban ruins as they skreak of an incoherent future. Presently, the painting works being carried out involves diverse platforms such as plywood, circuit boards, Fibre sheets incorporating laser cutting/engraving technology while working over mediums like canvas painting. Likewise there are also works being composed using single panels and quadra panels using diptych art. I wish to delve into usage of new modern technologies like 3D printing and laser cutting/engraving methodologies exquisitely in canvas art works for Present and Future works. The painting works may integrate usage of 3D printed exoskeleton elements and surfaces developed using fabricated sheets cut/engraved which shall be superimposed or embedded with the canvas medium. These works shall embelish the true nature of modern art and shall naturally commune the artistry. My works brings a sense of machine aesthetics in paintings and new media interactive art. These works largely deal with social concerns of mechanization and urbanization in general. These paintings include surreal vehicles or futuristic machines seem to stay afloat in an indefinitive or infinite space over heaps of urban decay as they screech of an incoherent future.
