About Shashikant Bhartee

As a Lead QA Engineer at GE Transportation, a Wabtec company, I am responsible for testing the next generation solution for locomotive data recording and over the air product upgrade. I have been working in this role since September 2021, after being promoted from a QA Engineer position that I held for two and a half years. I have successfully developed and executed test plans, test cases, and automation scripts using Python, Selenium, and other tools, ensuring the quality and reliability of the product. I have also performed multiple roles as a Scrum Master for the team, facilitating the agile development process and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. I have over eight years of experience in software testing, covering various domains such as web application, automotive, and infotainment. I have worked as a Software Test Engineer for BOSCH and DiodeCode, and as a Technical Associate for Concentrix, where I gained valuable skills and knowledge in core Java, Python, Shell scripting, API testing, Postman, AWS, and more. I have also used DOORS, HPALM Quality Center, Confluence, SVN, App test manager, JIRA, and Jenkins for test management and continuous integration. I have a strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and agile model, as well as system thinking and CAN protocol. I hold a bachelor's degree in electronics and control engineering from Sathyabama Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai, and certifications in core Java and ISTQB Foundation. I am passionate about delivering high-quality software products that meet the customer's needs and expectations.
