About Shaun Browne

I am a partner Webber Wentzel in Johannesburg, specialising in banking and finance and capital markets work. I represent clients (including lenders (both local and international financial institutions), borrowers and arrangers) in a broad range of local and multi-jurisdictional financing transactions, with a keen interest in transactions across the African continent. I advise clients on a broad range of financing transactions including corporate financing, project financing, trade finance, debt capital markets and derivatives transactions. Prior to joining Webber Wentzel, I was a partner in the Johannesburg office of Baker & McKenzie and at Werksmans Inc, where I advised on a broad range of banking and finance and capital markets areas. Prior to joining Werksmans Inc, I worked as an associate in the banking and finance team of Blake Dawson in Melbourne, Australia. I am admitted in South Africa and in Victoria, Australia.
