Worked in the Delivery Operations Industry for 32 years; 17 of which in middle management.Achieving three structural office revisions and two successful mergers.The management of a team of 120 people within a working duty set of 90 posts.The management of all safety and risk assessments for the sites.In control of the recruitment of both shop floor/line managers and front line staff.Responsible for the office budget, finances and continued saving improvements.Trained negotiation skills (Preston College) Worked with heavily unionised workforce and representatives to negotiate change.Responsible for the safe management of a fleet of 56 vans.(Small/transit sized). Delivered key safety messages and learnings to the team in forms of small and large daily 'Huddles' and weekly learning sessions.Was the person in control in the unit and both PIC and Fire safety trained.Was responsible for the office and compliance.Returned to education to retake English and Maths. Obtained a grade 'A' English and Functional Mathematics levels 1 and 2.(GSCE equivalent).Personal Interests are reading, fell running and general fitness, including cardio, dietary and skin and body care.
