About Shaun Foster

I am a senior litigation lawyer at Johns Southward LLP. After being called to the bar in 2016, I worked for 8 years with a large Vancouver firm, developing a diverse civil and commercial litigation practice. I regularly represent and advise clients in relation to commercial and civil disputes, administrative proceedings, municipal disputes, employment matters, and class actions. I have appeared before all levels of Court in British Columbia, as well as the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Alberta Court of King's Bench, the Manitoba Court of King's Bench, the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, the British Columbia and Alberta Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunals, the Canadian Transportation Agency, and the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada. Prior to law school, I completed a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria, and worked in the technology sector in Victoria. I regularly speak at conferences and am a frequent contributor to industry publications such as BarTalk and Lexology.
