About Shaun King

For the past 25 years, I have worked in various positions, providing excellent customer service. As the youngest paper carrier ever employed by our local newspaper, I learned the importance of establishing a positive rapport between myself and my customers. At 17, I coached gymnastics to children aged 3 to 13. As a competative gymnast I received the Coaches Cup, awarded to exemplary athletes, based on attitude, cooperation, effort and 'a joy to coach'. I began working at Sutherland Global Services, after graduating from Algoma University with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Music and Law. For 2 years, I provided technical support to customers with issues concerning anti-virus software, remoting into their computers to do updates and enhance their computer performance. After leaving Sutherland, I worked for Agero, dispatching roadside assistance for motor vehicles throughout the United States. I was promoted to the Escalation Team, where I handled escalated calls, both from customers and service providers, secured service for hard to reach areas, negotiated fees and distributed payments. I was promoted again to Quality Assurance, where I evaluated calls and provided feedback and coaching to the floor staff. When I left Agero, I became a Service Desk Analyst at CBN's charitable gaming support department. providing technical support to clients, training new employees, assisting with reports, and filling in for team leads while they are on vacation or leave.
