About Shaun Lynch

My current role as Sustainability Advisor has evolved somewhat from starting in spring 2016, my main responsibilities initially were around environmental reporting; from collating data from within our business and our key contractors to carrying out assurance reviews to ensure accuracy of the Business Carbon Footprint regulatory submission to Ofgem. My key responsibilities now are preparing and submitting two corporate responsibility indices, namely the Hang Seng Index, Dow Jones Index for our Shareholder. These indices are a mechanism to measure performance as a sustainable business. I am also heavily involved with on-going project management associated to our corporate social responsibilities; such as reducing the use of valuable resources such as water, and assisting with improving biodiversity potential at our sites. I have gained over 15yrs experience working with Integrated Management Systems, experience that I embed into my everyday tasks such as 3rd party environmental risk assessments. Within this time I have worked for a variety of sectors ranging from pensions, education and the energy sector. I am a certificated Lead Auditor for the ISO18001, ISO9001 & ISO27001 Standards and have also passed IOSH Managing Environmental Responsibilities. The knowledge gained from these courses has assisted in developing my knowledge for when conducting audit work activities. The experience I have gained has made me an accomplished auditor working within a busy Integrated Management System environment.
