About Shaun Proctor

I have worked in the Horticultural Industry since 2001. My love for working in this industry developed while working for a landscaping company in Martha’s Vineyard, United States. I then went onto to complete my Turfgrass Management undergraduate degree at Penn State University. I returned to South Africa and worked as a greens keeper for one of the top 100 Golf courses in Johannesburg, while finishing my studies. In 2008 I started my own landscaping business specialising in turf grass maintenance, landscaping, tree felling and irrigation. I started a maintenance company that maintained more than 20 large housing estates and business parks on a monthly basis, for over 8 years, before moving to the UK I pride myself on being creative and innovative; I thrive on new challenges and ideas. My strengths lie in my attention to detail, ability and experience to implement work schedules, budget management and my ability to manage a team effectively. I am passionate about two things in life, Sport and the outdoors.
