About Shaun Tarantelli

I have been a passionate and driven educator to second language learners with fourteen years of experience in South Korea. I am concerned in how students grow as people, and I strive to create a classroom where students are encouraged to inquire, create, and become responsible, hardworking, and caring individuals who can meet their future goals. I have had the pleasure of working and collaborating with other enthusiastic teachers from different countries and cultures, and have grown as an educator who can draw from diverse experiences to foster an atmosphere of growth and collaboration in schools. Currently, I am studying to become a Professional School Counselor at the College of William and Mary. I aim to use my knowledge as a teacher to increase academic outcomes in the classroom, as well as foster an environment where all students have equitable outcomes and can succeed in their aspirations. I hope to use my multicultural competence and experience to bridge the gap between cultures, fostering collaborative environments that ensure success for all. I seek to create a positive school environment that nourishes minds and sculpts our communities.
