About Shaun Uys

I started my career in Oil and Gas in 2006 where I started with Schlumberger as a Trainee Mechanical Technician, and have successfully grown my career to where I am today managing the maintenance demands for all Well Test operations in APG. Over the course of my career I have been lucky enough to have been able to travel to offshore well sites for some of our major clients and support with the Well Test operations, this has given me a much greater insight into the criticality of my role within the maintenance organization. In my time with Schlumberger I have had the opportunity to attend a number of courses, some of these courses are as follows. 1: BOSIET 2: Maintenance course for Maintenance Technicians 3: Advanced Maintenance course for Maintenance Technicians 4: Maintenance Managers course 5: LEAN Six Sigma 7: Environmental assessor and auditors 8: Senior first aider I have also been fortunate to travel to various parts of the world to support other locations with maintenance requirements and support with offshore operations, as such this has provided me with valuable insight into how other locations/countries operate, and enabled me the opportunity to work along side multiple nationalities and cultures.
