About Shaun Wilson

Shaun Wilson is a seasoned strategic communication and marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience working with the region’s top organizations, companies, and firms. He formerly led the Detroit office for a statewide agency. As senior vice president, he oversaw the firm’s Detroit operations and clients. Previously, he was vice president, director of client and community relations for PNC Financial Services Group. In this chief of staff role, he managed the office of the regional president – which serves as the central hub for all market initiatives including line of business activities, sponsorships, philanthropy, sales, community events, and regional marketing and branding programs. Other responsibilities include acting as the liaison for other outstate Michigan markets. Shaun also held the position of vice president, regional marketing manager for National City bank in southeast Michigan. In this position, he oversaw and implemented all integrated marketing efforts for the bank throughout the southeast Michigan market. Prior to National City, Wilson was managing partner of Wilson PR, a joint-venture strategic public relations and marketing firm that represented top Detroit-area companies and institutions. He holds a bachelor degree in public relations from Wayne State University. He also serves on the following boards: Cranbrook Institute of Science, Detroit Parent Network, Detroit Public Television, Mariners Inn, Michigan Economic Development Corporation (Michigan Strategic Fund), Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts, Sphinx Organization and Voices for Michigan’s Children. Shaun proudly served eight years in the U.S. Marines.
