I have extensive experience as an Advocate, Educator, Psychotherapist, and Clinical Supervisor, I have had the privilege of working in diverse settings, including residential treatment facilities, outpatient centers, and visitation centers for foster children and their families. Moreover, I have provided comprehensive counseling services to college students. In my therapeutic approach, I prioritize fostering connection, engagement, and relationships with individuals and families. I firmly believe that many individuals' emotional pain originates from early attachment wounds, and I am deeply passionate about assisting them in healing through healthy relationships. As a therapist, I derive immense satisfaction from being a secure base for my clients. I hold a master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College, along with a Bachelor of Science in Community and Human Services from Empire State College. This educational background, complemented by my licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has enabled me to establish a thriving private practice. In this capacity, I offer psychotherapy services to individuals, families, groups, and couples. Throughout my professional journey, I have acquired invaluable expertise in conducting assessments and evaluations, advocating for services, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and leveraging community resources to facilitate health, education, and social services. As a Clinical Supervisor, I am deeply committed to ensuring quality care, program evaluation, and the well-being of clients, staff, and their families. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role as a clinical supervisor is nurturing the growth and development of clinicians in their practice. I consider myself a consultant, teacher, coach, facilitator, mentor, evaluator, and a source of inspiration. I strive to serve as a liaison and ally between clinicians, clients, and various service providers, fostering overall professional development. Advocacy also holds a central place in my work. I am profoundly dedicated to promoting equality and equity for all individuals, tirelessly addressing their unique and unexpected needs. Leveraging my privilege and influence, I actively support the advancement of individuals and families, working diligently to eliminate barriers and enhance the quality, availability, and accessibility of healthcare services.
