About Shawn Knowles

As a Data Visionary, I manage a team that has transformed from focusing solely on organizational metrics to becoming a data office for the entire organization. From the ground up, I built the team, vision, strategy, and execution plan that led to this transformation. Under my leadership, we successfully implemented a data strategy that automated nearly 80% of our daily tasks, significantly improving efficiency. This success allowed us to standardize and centralize our data reporting processes, elevating my team to Subject Matter Experts in data management and extended value extraction. Our expertise has led to early involvement in data ingestion processes, where we now play a crucial role in framing data to maximize its value. I have crafted and executed a strategy that has not only improved the organization's outlook on data but has also educated product owners on the importance of clean data and data stewardship. This comprehensive approach has solidified our reputation as pivotal contributors to the organization's data-driven decision-making and innovation.
