About Shawn Lamb

Shawn has over twenty-four years of experience in all phases of planning, evaluation, design, project management, and construction contract administration spanning a diverse field of projects including commercial, educational, industrial, and health care facilities. Shawn provides design and project management services for a wide range of clients including both public and private sectors. As project engineer, Shawn enjoys the collaborative nature of this industry – working effectively with a variety disciplines, clients, contractors, and stake-holders is key to a successful project. Shawn also recognizes that open and honest communication amongst the entire project team is also vital to project success. Shawn is a LEED Accredited Professional with the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC) and has completed three education projects and two office buildings with LEED Silver certification. He has completed several submissions to the Commercial Building Incentive Program (CBIP) for a variety of health care, commercial, and educational facilities. In addition, he has participated in several HVAC system studies, energy analysis studies, and building audits. This work has provided an appreciation for the importance of life-cycle costs and long-term energy management in the selection of mechanical equipment and their relationship to other building components. Shawn attended the University of Regina where he completed the Industrial Systems Engineering program. Shawn is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan, the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, and Professional Engineers of Ontario. Shawn is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
