With over 23 years of biotech manufacturing experience, I have developed deep expertise in Fermentation, Purification, Conjugation Chemistry, and closed system dispensing operations. My experience spans all phases of clinical production, manufacturing scale-up, and commercial operations, with a strong focus on new facility start-ups, optimizing processes and enhancing efficiency in vaccine production. I have successfully managed multimillion-dollar budgets and led teams of up to 250 professionals, consistently ensuring our operations aligned with Pfizer's mission to deliver life-changing breakthroughs. In my most recent role as Senior Manager, Production Operations, I oversaw three Drug Substance production suites and two process support suites, managed multiple high-stakes inspections, and spearheaded major capital projects. I also led the Manufacturing Compliance Team for Vaccines, driving initiatives that resulted in a 50% reduction in changeover times and a 50% decrease in Human Performance investigations, significantly boosting our operational readiness and reducing manufacturing cycle times.
