Creative-first, experienced and well-connected revenue driver specializing in integrated marketing solutions and brand partnerships at Ideon Media, one of the largest independent digital sales organizations in Canada. Ideon Media exclusively represents some of the world's biggest digital/social publishing companies in Canada, including Complex, Business Insider, VICE, IGN, Apartment Therapy, RD Media, and many more. During my previous role at VICE I founded the Toronto office and grew the business every year by driving revenue through award-winning integrated media, content, and 360 programs with some of Canada's biggest brands. Some highlights include- Built VICE Media Canada, the main revenue engine for the company. Helped lead a constantly growing team of salespeople, creatives, strategists, operations, production, ad ops, etc- Launched VICE Money in partnership with BMO, creating a channel that demystifies personal finance for a millennial generation badly served by traditional finance media. We won 3 MIA Awards for VICE Money in 2017, including Gold for Best in Finance- Launched our channel Moveable, all about the future of mobility and transportation, in partnership with Toyota Canada- Created best-in-class sponsored content and 360 degree campaigns for brands like Kraft, Molson, CIBC, Advil, Labatt, Nestle, General Motors, Pepsico, and many many more. Starting with our first digital platform VICE.com, my time at VICE saw the launch of over a dozen digital channels, including VICE News, the technology channel Motherboard, the music channel Noisey, the fashion channel i-D, the health and wellness channel Tonic, and (my personal favourite) the food channel Munchies. I actually produced all the Chef's Night Out videos for Munchies in Canada as a fun side hustle, and am seriously food-obsessed.
