About Shawn Roquerre

I am a motivated and eager individual, with the desire to work efficiently and methodically. Being strived to self-educate, provide detail- oriented quality work, and flexibility to work long hours has brought me on a tremendous career path to where I am today.I began my career as an Automotive Technician with Mercedes Benz and just a short time after in January 2016, I was hired by Tesla. AfterTesla, in 2021, I found myself as a Development Engineering Technician at Rivian. This was a huge milestone in my life. Here I was given the opportunity to work alongside engineers directly, to give immediate feedback and trouble-shoot complex systems. I gained hands on experience planning, installing, and routing of critical test instrumentation, then collecting data while performing vehicle testing. I also gained experience in the coolest factor and that was off-site testing for development vehicles. From snow testing in Alaska, to ADAS test- ing in Germany, or sand testing in Glamis and rock crawling in Moab. This experience has now brought my understanding of automotive full circle, from prototype builds to test and development to start of production builds along with added medical and driver training.
