About Shawn Settles

I have over 23 years in the military with 18 years of leadership experience. For the last 5 years, I have managed two separate Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Programs as the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator for over 4,500 personnel. I attained my Level Advocate Credentials in 2022. I have 15 years of experience as a Military Intelligence professional assembling collected data, fusing the data into information, and analyzing that information to gain knowledge. I add the "why" and "so what" to products to ensure shared wisdom among the executive-level decision-makers. This allows them to make informed decisions which ensures our organization maintains a competitive advantage. I apply my skills as a Senior Army Instructor/Writer as well as the knowledge management pyramid to my current position as a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator. Not only do I enforce the policies put into place by policymakers, but I also provide analysis that assists with adjusting policy to eliminate Sexual Harassment in the workplace. I liaise with numerous organizations to assist with immediate response for vicitms of Sexual Harassment and Assualt and coordinate care while maintaining confidentiality when asked or required. I developed an event that has reached of people and has provided over worth of donations to local advocacy programs for victims of sexual violence. I am also the founder of Bespoke Alchemy. An upstart business that creates custom pens, laser engravings and other products.
