My career began at Digital Sound Corp / PulsePoint Communications - DSP engineer on unix and windows based VoiceMail and IVR systems. I then joined CrystalVoice / Global IP Solutions - Senior DSP engineer on audio and video quality and integration work. I worked at Cogi Inc doing more DSP audio stuff, but also taking on release-management roles. More recently I joined Pinger Corp and served as Scrum Master on agile teams, followed by Product Owner and now Senior Technical Manager over a seasoned group of Software Engineers. I spend about half my time on management, communication and organization, but keep a hand in the coding to stay current. I am familiar with multi-threading issues, call control protocols such as SIP, H323, TAPI/Wave, distributed presence, and most especially all aspects of VOIP.
