About Shawn Watson
Spending almost 18 years at FCI, the decision was made to close the plant where I worked. At that time, I was a part time Antique dealer, doing flea markets on the weekend. After the closure, I decided to give it a try as a full time, self employed Antique dealer. This didn't pan out as well as I had hoped. So as a Machinist/Toolmaker with 15+ years in a Supervisory role, combined with 5+ years of Lean Manufacturing experience I was ready to step back into the "Real World" again. I applied to numerous positions, trying to rejoin the active work force. My vacancy from a "Typical" job proved to be a major downfall. Finally, I was given a chance, making substantially less than previous positions. I have great passion for the work I am doing, however, a new challenge would be invigorating. My past work experience, skills, and dedication would be an asset to any company.
