About Shawna Adams

Shawna Adams is a Business Consultant with the Government of British Columbia, Health Sector Information, Analysis, and Reporting, to ensure health analytics data is accessible for health system design and decision-making. Adams knows that success comes from connection with people and data. She has brought services to those most vulnerable in her community by opening a Community Health Centre to add primary medical care to existing mental health services. Adams is a certified Parent Educator of the Adler School of Psychology and earned a diploma in Applied Chemistry and Biotechnology from Camosun College; providing a wealth of diversity in career opportunities focused on people and research. Her research interests include healthcare and business collaboration for realizing shared and individual success and development. Adams current research will investigate barriers to collaboration. This research aims to identify the complexities that limit the opportunities of collaboration to better define barriers and possibilities to enhance current management practice knowledge economy. She believes that together we can do better.
