About Shawndra Sublett

I’m a yoga instructor, mental health advocate, outreach specialist, grad student, and full-time mom rooted in compassion and driven by connection. My work centers on making yoga accessible and meaningful across all settings: from community and group classes, to private one-on-one instruction, and into the world of acro yoga where trust, play, and presence come alive. I also host a free YouTube channel offering yoga classes to help more people experience movement and stillness, no matter where they are. Currently, I’m pursuing a graduate degree in counseling with the goal of integrating body-based practices into mental health care, especially for underserved communities. As an outreach specialist, I connect individuals to resources and support blending practical help with heart-centered guidance. I believe wellness isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s about meeting people where they are, holding space for growth, and honoring the whole person, mind, body, and soul. Whether I’m guiding a yoga class, supporting a family in need, or reading textbooks during nap time, my mission remains the same: help people feel seen, strong, and supported. Let’s connect!
