About Shawnee Eidt

I have over 18 years of experience researching, developing, writing, and editing health information for various audiences and media. I have a great passion for developing simplified and easily-digestable content. So naturally, I love developing content that empowers people to make positive changes to their health and the health of their loved ones. My goal is to improve health literacy and user experience (UX) by applying plain language principles and ensuring content is clear, accessible, inclusive, and well-designed. In 2021, I made the jump to MedComms where I was responsible for providing strategic oversight and leading our content teams in the conceptualization, development and delivery of innovative scientific and medical content solutions for multiple, large-scale programs. More recently, I have transitioned to Patient Engagement and play a critical role as a leader in the Creative Content & Production department, managing the development of content on behalf of Reverba’s clients. I am an out-of-the-box thinker, problem solver, and enjoy coming up with new ways to improve efficiencies at work and in my personal life. I'm also a Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) member and a Certified Health Executive (CHE).
