If I'm not challenging myself, I'm not growing. My nameplate may say Receptionist, but I'm an organizer and coordinator at heart, combining excellent customer service with behind-the-scenes knowledge to deliver great results in whatever I'm asked to do. My favorite things about my job are talking to a variety of people all over the country, and learning what trends are emerging so we can ride the crest of what's coming, smoothly and surely. I also like finding out what makes my coworkers enjoy their jobs the most, whether that's a kind word, or a clear expectation. A big part of my job is figuring out how to translate tech concerns for non-tech people, and help to abate their fears about technology by providing connections and information to a team of great techs who can take those concerns and turn them into peace of mind. Over the years I've worked with everyone (and everything!) from children's groups, to executives, to farm animals (ask me about Bill the Ox!) and one thing I've found is that there's never a limit to what you can learn if you pay attention and look for the unexplored corners of a job to make it better.
