Journalist at Australian Associated Press - Melbourne (sport). I spent more than a decade as a sports journalist with The West Australian / Seven West Media, originally in Perth before being posted as the newspaper's senior sports reporter in Melbourne for 4+ years. I left the company in April 2019. Following that, I worked freelance as a sports reporter in Melbourne (and Geelong) for four months, and also enjoyed a three-month stint in the media department at NBL club South East Melbourne Phoenix. I left the club in November 2019 to take up my role at AAP. Throughout my career in journalism, I have also had work published by AFL Media, Croc Media, FourFourTwo, Inside Football, Footyology, K Rock Football, The Herald Sun, The Daily Telegraph, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and many others. I have also worked extensively in radio, including hosting and producing my own shows on Perth's Sport FM. I have been used as on-air talent by a range of radio stations, including ABC, 3AW, 6PR, SEN, RSN and Macquarie Sports Radio. Overall, I have had almost 20 years of experience in mainstream media, professional sports clubs and governing bodies as a journalist, news and feature writer, media coordinator, social media specialist and digital content producer.
