About Sheba White

I'm a developmental editor, publishing coordinator, and freelance writer with over 20 years of experience in content creation and content team management. I step into each role with a desire to be creative, challenge myself, and make concepts clear and projects easy. I love piecing together details, pitching solutions and ideas, and making things understandable and boring-free. I'm a storyteller, problem-solver, and pattern-seeker by nature. I've edited non-fiction book manuscripts and countless magazine features, and I've mentored many writers. I love seeing a creative project through from beginning to end. I also have the focus, intuition, collaborative spirit, and follow-through skills of a thought-to-action organizer. In my most recent role, I used workflow and operations management techniques that I developed and implemented training sessions with new coordinators using concepts that I created. When reading my training notes, my colleagues commented "You're the clearest communicator. I always want to hear your take on a situation because I always understand the full picture better." I'm often appreciated for my ability to step into any project management task and provide helpful suggestions, spot potential problems, quickly resolve conflicts, get everyone up to speed, and just intuitively manage and add structure.
