My time thus far in the run specialty industry has been shaped by amazing experiences and personal connections. It is my mission each and every day to not only demonstrate my passion for running and fitness, but to share my knowledge in a manner that positively shapes the lives of others. I am committed to transcending the typical retail experience, and providing individuals of all backgrounds an inviting atmosphere for training, socializing and personal growth. Whether coaching programs for beginning runners, teaching ongoing clinics, hosting community outreach events, training staff members or provide great in store customer service, my primary concern is cultivating a welcoming environment focused on providing the absolute best customer experience possible. In addition to my experience in the workplace, my educational background has shaped my leadership skills in a profound manner. The formal training I received in the Maryville University education program has been invaluable to my professional development. Managing a classroom requires patience, technical knowledge and the ability to empower and motivate widely divergent personality types. I shaped these skills for countless hours in the classroom setting, and can say with absolute confidence that my educational background leaves me well prepared to contribute to any team.
