Champion for the development and implementation of standards of practice protocols for orthopaedics with consistent service developments alongside management of physiotherapy in patient services. Work alongside orthopaedic nurse specialists and ward managers to drive and progress the orthopaedic service hospital wide, consistently striving for excellence in approach and encouraging teams to achieve same. Provide support to staff clinically and personally to ensure an optimal working environment achieved. Champion within department for key performance indicators taking ownership of projects leading by example in driving service improvements and project completion encouraging staff engagement in continual audit and quality improvement projects and research. Education across allied health, nursing and students within the hospital and have presented at GP study days and study sessions throughout the hospital.
