I am working as a Site Reliability Engineer at Akamai Technologies for past 4+ years. Prior to this, I interned as a DevOps and QA engineer with Mobileaware for 4 months.I am a Computer Networking graduate with 3 years of experience in Software development, Defect fixing, Troubleshooting, Requirement analysis, and Testing. Below are my current job responsibilities:• Handling the critical Akamai’s website for any end-to-end issues including all system dependencies• Performing installs on Docker platform on 100+ servers on Azure Cloud VM's & on-prem and validating all the servers using scripts• Creating Splunk, Grafana, Graylogs dashboards and alerts for proactive monitoring purpose• Automating day to day tasks using Bash shell scripting and Ansible scripting• Supporting production release by monitoring the logs and resolving issues • Troubleshooting/Resolving the environment issues in QA and Production environment through Jira tickets• Configuring new tools for better monitoring purpose like Grafana, ELK stack, Graylogs• Analyzing the server logs for probable issues and fixing those/by reaching the concerned application teams• Actively take part in on-call rotations on weekends.Area of Expertise:• Software Languages: Python, Perl, Bash Shell Scripting• Virtualization & Networking: Azure Cloud, Docker, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, TCP/IP, UDP and VPN• Monitoring & Automation: Splunk, Grafana, Rigor, Graylogs, ELK and Ansible• Operating Systems: Linux – Ubuntu, CentOS, Windows, Mac
