Lead Quantity Survey professional with sound track record of Eleven (11) year’s experience in pre and post contract works for Infrastructure, Buildings and Mixed-use Development Projects. • Experience in all facets of quantity surveying including cost planning, quantity take-off, preparation of bills of quantities (BOQ), cost estimating, report writing, claim evaluation / negotiation, general post contract administration, review and certify payments (interim and final), valuation of variations, etc. • Providing Cost Management the ongoing financial performance of the project, ensuring costs are closely monitored and controlled to remain within the approved budget & regular reports on cost status, identifying any variances or potential savings opportunities. • Identify, assess, and manage financial and contractual risks that may arise during the post-contract phase also, Implement effective risk mitigation strategies to avoid cost overruns or project delays • Handle contractor claims related to delays, additional works, or unforeseen circumstances, ensuring they are assessed and processed in line with contract provisions to facilitate dispute resolution and work towards amicable solutions, supporting the use of mediation or arbitration if necessary. • Attending and presenting at commercial meetings with the client to provide updates on the project cash flow and cost-to-complete analysis. • Providing the contractor with a clearly defined Change Order management procedure to be followed of any changes to the original scope of work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. • Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner. • Excellent interpersonal skills towards building relationships at all organizational levels, and with external clients to ensure services are delivered on time. I have a membership for Chartered Quantity Surveying (CQS) From RICE-USA (Royal Institute for Chartered Engineers) and RICS APC Candidate.
