About Sheila Donis

I graduated from North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice concentrating in Law Enforcement. I began my career shortly after at the Raleigh Police Department in Raleigh, NC where I worked as an Evidence Specialist. Throughout my time there, I realized there were no small roles in Criminal Justice, and this quickly deterred my plans from becoming a sworn officer, one day, to be more hands-on in the field as a Crime Scene Investigator. I am a hard worker, always willing to help others, a quick learner, determined, and always willing to extend my knowledge in the crime scene field through certifications and training. My extensive background in customer service has provided me with the skills to communicate with several individuals, adjust my language to the appropriate audience, and be a problem solver.
