About Sheila Williams
As a proud library card holder since 1980, my passionate love affair with the written word began as a child. Everywhere I went I carried a book. I devoured books like dessert. That affair led to an insatiable desire to save the world through words. Although my dream was deferred and even abandoned to pursue a 'regular' 9 to 5 soul-sucking job as an administrative assistant, it could never be quite extinguished. For five years, God unceasingly spoke to my unfulfilled, jaded heart. He urged me to trust Him and reignite the flame of my childhood dream. Speaking to my humanitarian side, God encouraged me to change the world by writing grants and offering editing services for those in the urban community. Named after my late father Cal R. Williams, Jr, I gingerly launched C. Writes in June 2019. The stars have finally aligned and I have shyly stepped forward to claim my destiny. And yes, I still carry a book wherever I go.
